MENA – August 3, 2026 – Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the leading global event for every sector of the cosmetics industry, will return from 18 to 21 March 2027. The edition will celebrate 60 years since the event was founded and introduce a significant evolution of the exhibition layout, designed to further enhance networking and business opportunities for industry professionals. The announcement comes at a time when the global beauty industry is becoming increasingly multipolar, with the Middle East redefining its position from a destination market to a centre of cultural, creative and entrepreneurial influence.
The 60th anniversary marks not only the evolution of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, but also that of the global beauty industry itself. Over the past six decades, the event has accompanied the industry’s most significant transformations, helping shape business models, foster international partnerships and connect every stage of the beauty value chain. Today, as brands increasingly adapt to local consumer behaviours and regional market dynamics, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna continues to provide a global platform where innovation, collaboration and international business converge.
The new exhibition layout reflects these evolving market dynamics, creating a more intuitive and specialised experience that strengthens networking, collaboration and business opportunities for an increasingly international industry.
A NEW LAYOUT SUPPORTING INTERNATIONAL GROWTH AND BUSINESS
The international reach of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is the result of a structured and ongoing commitment, as demonstrated by the outstanding results of the 2026 edition: 3,104 exhibitors from 68 countries, 80% of whom were international, and more than 255,000 industry professionals from 155 countries, with international visitors accounting for 53% of total attendance. Insights from Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna’s latest CosmoTalks highlight how the beauty industry is increasingly being shaped by regional expertise and local market knowledge. Across EMEA, brands are moving beyond one-size-fits-all strategies, while markets such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE continue to demonstrate distinct consumer behaviours and an increasingly influential role in shaping the global beauty landscape. The 2027 edition has been designed to support these evolving dynamics by creating a more intuitive environment for international business and collaboration.
“The 60th anniversary is an important milestone, but above all it is an opportunity to continue evolving Cosmoprof’s role as a global platform serving the industry,” says Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof. “The new layout is part of a development strategy aimed at making the event increasingly effective, accessible and responsive to the needs of a constantly evolving international market. We will continue to invest in innovation across the event format, services and content in order to create tangible value for companies and industry professionals.”
The reorganisation reflects Cosmoprof’s continued commitment to creating more valuable business opportunities across the beauty ecosystem. By making the different product areas more recognisable, the new layout will foster more targeted, high-quality connections between exhibitors, buyers, distributors, retailers, manufacturers and industry professionals.
As the global beauty industry continues to be shaped by regional markets and local expertise, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2027 will provide a platform where global ambition meets regional opportunity. Building on its 60-year legacy of connecting the international beauty community, the event will continue to foster the partnerships, innovation and knowledge exchange that shape the future of beauty.
